Sweet Annika

This is a picture of Annika I took the other day while she was sleeping. I edited the color a bit on our iphoto program and this was the final result. By far one of the best photos I have taken and one of my favorites of her!

Annika's thoughts...

These pictures were taken before we went to softball practice last Tuesday night. This is really what Annika looks like most of the time. :o) She does smile, but she tends to have this look on her face more so than not. Don't you just wish you knew what they were thinking?!? :o)


Annika loves to sit on the couch and look out the window! But again the similar face. She seems like a very serious baby sometimes. She is a fun baby though, her facial expressions are so much fun. We will probably have more photos of her than we know what to do with. I started a scrapbook for her and I know I won't be able to put all the photos I have taken of her in it (I have to many).

Football?!?!

Annika informed us (although just starting) baseball season is going to slow. She would like the football season to be here already. She's ready to see her first Packers Game!








Annika got this outfit (part of it, the other part is still big) from great-grandma Karen.

Easter Sunday

I've notice that a lot of our friends have pictures from Easter on their blogs. We were all dressed up so nice (we all matched with purple). We were going to have someone take some pictures for us before we ate dinner. However, when we got to the family's house, Annika needed to be changed. I proceeded to change her and she then spit up all over her nice white eye-lit trimmed with purple easter dress. Needless to say we did not get Easter pictures taken.
It was however a good day. Our church had two service. David preached the first service and Pastor Cable preached the second service. Between the two services we had about 185 people in attendance (this is amazing if you know where our church is located...in the middle of nowhere)! :o)

Diaper Changing Fun!

For whatever reason, Annika's favorite place seems to be the changing table. After she got her diaper changed this morning, she was especially happy!

Annika's busy life....

Well, tomorrow Annika turns one month old (time flies, people told me it would go by fast, I wasn't so sure I believed them....I do now). Sorry it's been a while since the last post. We have had a lot going on and I thought I'd wait and update it when we were not so busy, well, that has not happened (then I remembered, we are always busy). :o)

On March 26th it hit 74 degrees here. David and I decided to go to Wild River State Park for a "hike," it was Annika's first hike.





As you can tell, she had fun....she slept the whole time! :o)

On March 31st the church had a baby shower for Annika. She got a lot of really neat stuff. It was a lot of fun. My mom, grandma, sister Nikki, and two nieces (Riley and Mary) came. If you click on the picture below you can see some of the pictures from the baby shower.
