Visit from Grandma & Grandpa Stertz
This past week Grandma and Grandpa Stertz came to visit Annika. So did Aunt Katherine, Uncle Bryan and Uncle Benjamin. Annika was spoiled by all the holding and loved every moment of it!

Home Sweet Home
We came home yesterday with Annika. She has done pretty good. She did not sleep the full 7 hours last night like she did while in the hospital. :o) But she did not cry much of it, just was awake and grunting. She also got to meet the pets (Lincoln and Zoe). I don't think Zoe cared to much for her. Lincoln on the hand follows me around if I have her in my hands and when she cries, he cries! Protective already!
Seeing as how it was a Wednesday, we took Annika to church for the first time. Many were surprised to see "her." One lady said "Oh he's here" and I had to break the news that it was a girl! Many people were shocked, but it's a fun story to tell.
Here are a few pictures of Annika's first night home!

I know this is short but this may give you a better view of her. She was in a really good mood waiting to be weighed.
Baby Annika!
Say hello to baby Annika. Both of us were very surprised to see a girl when our doctor raised her up!
Annika Carol Stertz (pronounced "Ah-nnika" like "Aunt") was born at 9:33 am on March the 6th. She is 7lbs 15 oz and 21 inches long.

More Snow!!!
Snow Daze!
We woke up to more snow this morning!! We now have just about 2 feet of snow. It sure is pretty seeing all the white. However, I was ready for spring to come, it may take awhile for all this snow to melt now! As of 9 am our road were still not plowed. Our neighbor actually got stuck coming home from work.
We have gotten many offers from neigbors to let us use their SUV, just in case we needed to get to the hosptial, obviously that did not happen!
Many ladies tell me that many babies are born in the middle of some kind of storm. Well, we have gone through two snow storms and still NO baby!! :o) Hopefully "he " will come soon (prefererably around the due date and not way past it). :o)
